Al Amana Microfinance

Al Amana Microfinance is a non-profit organisation, governed by the Dahir of 15 November 1958 and the laws 18/97 and 58/03 concerning the activity of micro-credit. It was founded on February 13, 1997, and approved as a microcredit association by the Ministry of Finance on March 31, 2000. As the leader of the microfinance sector in Morocco, Al Amana Microfinance had, as of the end of June 2024, a network of more than 559 points of service, comprising 247 in urban and outer-urban areas, 312 in rural areas, and 86 mobile vehicles serving the most remote zones.
Al Amana Microfinance offers financial products such as: the solidarity loan, the individual loan to companies, the individual loan for accommodation or housing, intended for the promotion of the generative activities of income, for the improvement of the accommodation, or to ensure its connections with the electricity or with the drinking and potable water. Al Amana Microfinance also offers non-financial services, including training, accompaniment, and support for the marketing and visibility of its customers' products. At the end of 2024, Al Amana Microfinance had served 5,825,938 loans, totalling a global amount of 51 billion dirhams, benefiting 2,013,087 customers.
