Opening up a world of education
Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.
As part of our work with Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative (WPDI), PEIC has been giving a voice to refugee youth and providing opportunities for empowerment through education. This article was written by two youth leaders, Monday and Hidita, in March of this year and is particularly pertinent when we reflect on World Refugee Day on 20 June.
