Donation to go towards "Together Project"

Education Above All (EAA) foundation, has announced a contribution from Chevron Phillips Chemical Company Qatar LLC, which will see the chemical producer invest QR 385,000 into EAA’s Together Project.

While EAA foundation continues to tackle deep-rooted socioeconomic and geographic barriers hindering children’s education across its globally renowned programs, Together Project was launched in 2016 to bring opportunities to out-of-school-children of expatriates from disadvantaged backgrounds in Qatar. To date, Alsilm schools, run as part of the Together project, have enrolled a total of 1,496 students of 22 different nationalities, both Arabic and non-Arabic speaking.

The sponsorship by Chevron Phillips Chemical comes as part of the company’s corporate vision performance by design. Caring by choice™, whereby its aims to bring positive, measurable change to communities around the globe by making charitable investments and encouraging employee volunteerism with various organizations.

Education Above All (EAA) Foundation

Education Above All (EAA) is a foundation established in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. Its aim is to contributes to human, social, and economic development through the provision of quality education for all. With a particular focus on those affected by poverty, conflict, and natural disaster, EAA’s work champions the needs of children, youth and women to empower them to become active members of their communities.

EAA is comprised of four programmes: Educate A Child (EAC), Al Fakhoora, Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) and Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict (PEIC).
