About EAA

Opening up a world of education

Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.

Youth Virtual Side Event | UNGA 75 2020

Rewatch the Webinar

It is our pleasure to invite you to join the virtual side event on
‘Empowering youth as vehicles of positive change, contributing to more just and peaceful societies of the future’.

Recorded On Monday 28th September, 2020
From 11am to 12:00pm (ET)

EAA and its partners held this virtual side session to the UNGA 75 and engaged in meaningful dialogue with global leaders, academics, grassroots activists and youth advocates on the important role of our youth as an active force for change.

The session offered an open forum to leaders and youth advocates to share their recommendations for meaningful engagement towards the realisation of UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security. Panellists will exchange ideas and recommendations on two main topics:

  1. Empowering youth as global citizens of change and action, and as initiators of solutions and ideas.
  2. Empowerment of youth as vehicles of positive change, contributing to enable participation for more just and peaceful societies of the future.
