Opening up a world of education

Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.

Keep Children Learning - Part II - The Role of Community Engagement

Calendar icon 15 July 2020 17:00 - 18:30

At this time, with the majority of the world’s schools closed, the question of how and where children learn has never been more pertinent on a global scale.

Click play above to rewatch the second webinar in the series “Keep Children Learning: Part II – The Role of Community Engagement” recorded on Wednesday, 15 July 2020 at 14:00 (UDT).

As part of its role to advocate for the most marginalised out of school children, and to keep the issue of education at the top of national and global agendas; Educate A Child, a programme of the Education Above All foundation cordially invites you to the second installation of its four-part webinar series—Keep Children Learning.

In light of the current situation, this webinar series asks the question: How do we ensure that education and learning continue even when schools are closed?

Together with its partners buildOn, Educate Girls, and UNICEF, EAC will discuss the ways in which to engage and mobilise communities to ensure continuity of children’s learning and prepare children to return to school when it is time to do so.

You can also follow the discussion online and engage with us using #LearningNeverStops and #righttoeducation
