Palestine Emergency Education Response
Project Status

Recognising the pivotal role of play in children's well-being and development, especially during conflicts, Education Above All’s Innovation Development Directorate has designed 40 games tailored for children in completely resource-free environments.
The 40 games include themes of literacy, numeracy, socio-emotional learning, and the world around us and are condensed on a single sheet of paper, requiring minimal printing.
- The games require no technology and no resources, including pencils or paper.
- Available for two age groups, 7-10 and 11-13, in both Arabic and English
- Minimum facilitation required
- Only one printed sheet is needed for a group of children playing together to share
In addition to the 40 games for immediate deployment, we have also curated additional learning resources in Arabic from the award-winning Internet Free Education Resource Bank (IFERB), to provide Palestinian children with the opportunity to engage in play-based learning. The resources require minimal resources and no technology once downloaded, which include:
- Learning Packages: IFERB learning packages can provide 1 hour of learning activities a day for one month for children between the ages of 6-14.
- Storybooks: A curated list of 20 stories for two levels (6-7 and 8-9) selected from our collection of stories. The stories are culturally sensitive to the Palestinian context.
