Project Status
As a leading non-profit organisation, Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) actively serves local communities in Qatar through a number of volunteer-led projects implemented by the National Programs Department.
During ROTA’s annual Ramadan Project over the past ten years, ROTA has provided numerous engaging opportunities for volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to give back to the local community. Activities such as bulk food distribution, community Iftars and Garangaou serve to connect volunteers with the community and the true spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Continuing the significant achievements of those previous campaigns, the ROTA Volunteer Program is again looking to extend its support and commitment to members of the local community in Doha who are in need during the upcoming Holy month of Ramadan.
The Ramadan 2017 Project theme “A New Era” was developed for the reason that Reach Out TO Asia (ROTA) has now joined the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation. The Ramadan Project is an engaging annual event for ROTA, volunteers, supporters and community beneficiaries in Doha. The Ramadan Project brings together like-minded individuals of all ages, races and from all walks of life who share a common interest in collectively serving their community and making a positive difference in the lives of people in need.
