Project Status

As a leading non-profit organisation, Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) is committed to providing high quality and relevant primary and secondary education, encouraging relationships among communities, creating safe learning environments and restoring education in crisis affected areas across Asia and around the world. ROTA envisions a world, where all young people have access to the education they need in order for them to realize their full potential and shape the development of their communities. Working with local and international NGOs, ROTA supports a variety of projects in 11 focus countries.
ROTA’s Volunteer Program has been conducting International Volunteer Trips since 2006. Through trips to Pakistan, Cambodia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Tunisia and Indonesia, the Volunteer Program has sought to create a movement of volunteers and responsible global citizens within Qatar that actively carry out initiatives to make a positive impact on the lives of communities across Asia.
Since 2006, ROTA has successfully implemented 29 international volunteer trips aimed at providing opportunities for volunteers to add value to projects while also learning about current development challenges and the importance of service. Volunteers have included high school students, university students and adults. These trips have typically lasted from 7-10 days and combine voluntary service with experiential learning opportunities, cross cultural exchanges and leadership training.
