For each stage of the Innovation Process, ID will utilize the following criteria to determine whether a challenge and its respective solution moves to the next phase.
- Impact potential and quality of the solution: Determining the scale and severity of the challenge we are solving for and the potential to make a significant contribution towards an unsolved for the challenge. Evaluating if the solution is innovative, well-designed, contextualized for user needs and solving the identified challenge.
- Feasibility: Evaluating the solution based on cost, time, effort, ability to execute, partnerships and regulatory framework.
- Sustainability: Identifying the stickiness and continued impact of the project in the selected geography and the ability to scale and replicate.
- Fit with EAA and ID’s contribution: Meeting EAA’s areas of focus and building on the expertise and abilities of the Foundation.
