Since its inception, ROTA has paid special attention to developing partnerships as our primary mechanism for implementing all of our projects internationally. We recognize that by partnering with organisations with deep expertise we are able to better build mutual knowledge, skills, reach and experience and thereby achieve greater impact than when working alone.
ROTA finances projects on a co-funding basis, and therefore partner organisations must be able to contribute at least 50% of the total project costs. Co-funding may include direct contributions from the partner organisation and/or contributions from other parties.
We are looking for partners capable of:
- Building on a shared vision of a fair world, where young people have the education and training necessary to contribute to the sustainable development of their communities and the world.     Â
- Applying results-oriented approaches based on effective operational capacities.
- Meeting ethical obligations and accountability, apart from the essential accountability between partners and donors partners who are also accountable to the beneficiaries served.
- Committing to building and nurturing effective working relationships which leverage resources to build the capacities of beneficiaries to sustain the supported interventions.
- Working toward sustainability by engaging communities and ensuring the voices of stakeholders are heard in favour of programme outcomes.Â
If your organisation shares ROTA’s vision of empowering young people as agents of sustainable development and is interested in becoming a ROTA partner, please follow the guidelines for submitting your expression of interest.
