First Arab Regional Meeting on Education 2030
EAC members Mary Joy Pigozzi and Said Yasin participated in the Arab Regional Meeting on Education convened by UNESCO at Cairo, Egypt, 15-16 December 16, 2015.
The meeting was the first in the region since the approval of the Framework for Action for Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) last month. The purpose of the meeting was to initiate work towards collective action in achieving the education 2030 goal in the Arab region. EAC Director made a short presentation on EAC's perspectives on the new Education goal and chaired a plenary session on the "Arab Regional Roadmap"
