ROTA/VCU-Q Volunteer Trip to Indonesia

ROTA is organizing an international volunteer trip for students from VCU-Q to visit a school in Indonesia, the main sponsor of the trip is Vodafone Qata. Students will visit the ROTA sponsored SMK1 ROTA Bayat Technical High School, They will be conducting a series of intensive workshops focusing on arts skills. The main objective of the trip is to foster the spirit of volunteerism and service learning amongst students in Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar, and providing opportunities for volunteers to engage in service learning through experiential learning active The trip was a great success, with volunteers fully engaged during the 7 day trip. It was also the largest group of volunteers to go from VCU-Q, indicating increased popularity of the trip.
