In recognition of International Youth Day, Education Above All (EAA), through its Silatech Programme, will convene this webinar to explore how young people can successfully navigate the transition from education to employment in an AI-driven labour market.
As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries and transform the nature of work, the skills and competencies required for employment are evolving rapidly. While higher education remains fundamental to preparing young people for their future careers, many graduates face challenges in translating academic learning into employment opportunities. Bridging the gap between education and labour market needs has become increasingly important to ensure youth are equipped to succeed in a changing world of work.
This webinar will bring together young people, development partners, and innovation ecosystem representatives to explore how education systems, skills development initiatives, and cross-sector partnerships can better prepare youth for emerging employment opportunities. By placing youth voices at the centre of the discussion, the session will combine lived experiences with institutional perspectives to identify practical pathways that support successful transitions from education to employment.
Through this dialogue, EAA aims to foster collaboration among key stakeholders while empowering young people to actively shape the future of work and strengthen education-to-employment pathways that promote inclusive and sustainable employment.
