Rebuilding Hope for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip: Phase 2
Project Status

Project aims to ensure the continuity of education for 90,000 high school students in Gaza through the successful administration of electronic General Secondary Examinations (Tawjihi).
In partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and UNDP, the project will establish 100 fully equipped educational centers, providing reliable internet, stable power, and secure digital exam platforms. The project will distribute 10,000 tablets to students to enable secure online examinations, ensuring access despite infrastructure collapse.
Structured academic support will reach 30,000 students through remedial courses, mock exams, and orientation sessions, as well as psychosocial support services to enhance resilience and mental well-being. Spanning April 2025 to March 2026, the project targets both the 2024 and 2025 Tawjihi cohorts through five exam rounds. A sustainability plan ensures that these centers will evolve into permanent digital learning hubs, advancing long-term educational recovery in Gaza.
Objective: To ensure continuity of secondary education for high school students in Gaza by enabling the inclusive, resilient, and effective administration of the Tawjihi examinations through digital and in-person modalities.
