About EAA

Opening up a world of education

Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.

The programme aimed to provide children in Kandy with access to quality educational resources without relying on internet connectivity. The program focused on enhancing children's learning experience by utilising offline teaching materials and promoting active engagement among children. IFERB was implemented at the Child Development Centre in Kandy, which served as the primary site for delivering the program. To overcome the limitations of internet connectivity, the program utilised a manual method for delivering educational materials. Teachers re-wrote the given teaching materials on kids' books, ensuring that the content was customised to the needs and abilities of each child. This approach promoted hands-on learning, encouraged active participation, and allowed for personalised instruction based on individual learning styles.
