EAA Foundation Launches 2025 ‘Back to School’ Campaign to Support Out of School Children Worldwide
The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a global foundation for education and development, has announced the launch of its 2025 “Back to School” campaign, a national fundraising and community engagement initiative running from 15 August to 31 December 2025.
The campaign aims to ensure that more vulnerable children worldwide gain access to inclusive and high quality education.
Through the campaign, EAA Foundation will bolster such efforts by delivering backpacks and school kits to young learners, awarding scholarships to disadvantaged youth, and building or rehabilitating classrooms and educational facilities in these communities. All of these measures align with EAA’s mission to reach the hardest to reach children and ensure that no child is denied their fundamental right to education.
This year’s campaign is supported by an expansive and diverse coalition of partners from across Qatar’s public and private sectors, including Place Vendôme Mall, Snoonu, Mayoral, Apparel Group, Marriott International, Al Abdulghani Motors, Doha College, Elan Media, and Doha Media. Each partner is playing a distinct role in amplifying the campaign’s reach and impact.
At Place Vendôme, a symbolic “Duck Release” activation invites the public to purchase and release rubber ducks in the mall’s iconic fountain, with proceeds supporting EAA’s global education projects. This creative CSR activation not only raises vital funds but also serves as a powerful public statement in support of the right to education for every child.
On the digital front, Snoonu has launched a dedicated in-app donation feature in its charity section, enabling customers to make direct contributions. A campaign video and influencer-led content are scheduled to go live on social media platforms to boost visibility and engagement. Meanwhile, Marriott Business Council Qatar is organising a family friendly bicycle racing event (Ride for Education) at Sheraton Grand Doha, turning sport into a vehicle for social good. Retail supporters, including Mayoral, Apparel Group, are contributing through point of sale fundraising, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement.
Media partners Elan Media and Doha Media will feature campaign messaging on digital billboards, screens, and print platforms throughout the country. Meanwhile, Doha College and other academic institutions will play a hands-on role in raising awareness among students and their families.
Community engagement events are at the heart of the campaign, enabling the public to participate in fun and meaningful ways. During Charity Week 2025, an annual youth-led fundraising initiative, students across schools and universities in Qatar will host activities and charity booths to mobilise support for EAA’s cause. These young volunteers are turning campuses into hubs of generosity, from bake sales and book drives to awareness exhibitions, demonstrating the power of Qatar’s youth to drive change for their less fortunate peers. In addition, a public “Back to School” festival at West Walk, featuring educational workshops, health and sports activities, and cultural performances for families, invites community members of all ages to join in supporting the right to education.
Taj Sulaiman, EAA’s Private Sector Partnerships and Communication Director, said: “Through the ‘Back to School’ campaign, we call on everyone to join us in giving children the chance to learn and build a better future. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to making education a reality for all.”
EAA Foundation invites the people of Qatar to join the 2025 “Back to School” campaign by participating in partner‑powered activities that make every gesture count—whether small or large. You can support educational access in diverse, impactful ways: release a fundraising duck at Place Vendôme, donate via the Snoonu app, or join the educational bicycle race at Marriott. Students across schools and universities will lead creative initiatives during Charity Week, and at West Walk, will bring the community together with interactive booths, performances, and fun for families. Our retail partners like Mayoral, Apparel Group, and along with media outreach from Elan and Doha Media, will help spread the word. Whether you shop, donate, ride, or show up, you're helping send children back to school—because every contribution matters.
