TFM and EAA's Internet Free Education Resource Bank
Project Status
This project aimed to continue providing education for learners in Morocco during COVID-19, when school closures and limited connectivity left many families, particularly in rural areas, struggling to access learning opportunities. In response, Education Above All, in partnership with Teach For Morocco (TFM), developed a distance-learning model tailored to overcome challenges such as slow internet speeds and scarce resources. The program introduced a new approach to implementing the Internet Free Education Resource Bank (IFERB), focusing on a wide range of subjects including language and literacy, numeracy, social sciences, social-emotional learning, mathematics, science, and physical education. The project was carried out in two phases. In the first phase, TFM collaborated with EAA coordinators to select and adapt 12 IFERB projects, translating them into Arabic to align with Morocco’s ECE framework. This phase reached approximately 2,782 students and involved 41 teachers. In the second phase, the adapted projects were implemented in five schools, reaching an additional 336 students.
