Education Above All and W Doha Hotel & Residences
Representatives of Education Above All Foundation (EAA) and W Doha Hotel & Residences have reached a partnership agreement to collaborate in support of primary education for all via EAA’s Educate A Child programme. The agreement will generate visibility for the Educate A Child programme and the cause of primary education throughout W Hotel venues in Doha. Additionally, an in-room fundraising campaign will launch featuring a video on the in-room entertainment system and envelopes to collect guest contributions.
Commenting on the partnership, Fahad Al-Sulaiti, Deputy CEO of Education Above All, said: “We thank W Doha for its partnership, which will bring new awareness to the importance of the issue of primary education. Education Above All’s approach is to sign agreements with representatives across industries – from sport to culture to hospitality. Reaching our goal of reaching more out of school children with primary education requires innovative partnerships and the participation of the private sector. W Doha Hotel & Residences represents one of the leading venues in the city, and its support will surely contribute to the movement we’ve created.”
Complementing the in-room collection effort, the partnership foresees fundraising integration with some of the most popular dining locations in Doha – W Doha’s Spice Market, Market, La Spiga and the W Café. The award-winning restaurant will designate a sushi dish on its menu for which all proceeds will benefit Educate A Child. All funds raised through the partnership will be applied 100 percent to support projects on the ground that are expanding access to primary education. EAA covers all administrative expenses to maximise the impact of donations.

Educate A Child is a global initiative launched by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar, which aims to significantly reduce the numbers of out of school children (OOSC). Inspired by the Millennium Development Goals to increase access to quality primary education for OOSC, EAC works with partners to reach millions of children affected by poverty and crisis.
